Delete your LessonPad account
You can delete your LessonPad account at any time from inside the app. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to delete your account
- Open LessonPad and sign in.
- Go to Settings from the My Students screen.
- Choose Delete my account.
- Read the warning, then type DELETE MY ACCOUNT exactly to confirm.
- Choose Delete everything.
The confirmation phrase is checked again on our servers, so a mis-tap cannot delete anything.
What is deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- your students and their contact details;
- your lessons and all homework, including any edits you made;
- your audio recordings;
- your demonstration videos;
- the homework PDFs generated from your lessons;
- your account itself, and your sign-in.
Video links you have already emailed to parents will stop working.
What is not deleted
- Homework emails already delivered to a student or parent are in that person’s mailbox and are outside our control.
- If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings.
Deleting less than everything
If you only want to remove part of your data, the app has Delete lesson, Delete student and Archive student actions. Archiving hides a student from the active list but keeps their records; Restore brings them back.
If you cannot sign in
Deletion has to be done from a signed-in account, so that nobody else can delete your data. If you cannot sign in, email support@getlessonpad.com from the address on the account and we will help. Never send us your password.
