How do I record homework?
Open a student, tap the microphone, speak your notes as you would to the student, and tap Stop. Record each piece, scale or exercise separately — the app makes one homework card per item you name. Recordings made within four hours of each other for the same student are added to the same lesson; use Start New Lesson if you want to begin a fresh one.
The homework has a mistake
Tap the pencil on any card to edit its title, category and targets before sending. Transcription can mishear piece names and note names, so always read through before you send.
Sending homework
The student needs a saved contact email (Edit Student). Tap Send on the homework review page and the PDF is emailed from LessonPad with your own email address as the reply address, so any reply from a parent comes straight to you.
Attaching a demonstration video
On a card, tap the video icon to record or choose a short clip. Videos are compressed before upload; if an upload fails, the card keeps a Retry option. The email carries a private link to the video, which stops working if you delete the lesson or student.
Where is my previous homework?
Open the student, then Lesson history. You can reopen any past lesson, edit it and resend it.
Archiving, deleting and account deletion
Archive hides a student from the active list but keeps everything; Restore brings them back. Delete student or Delete lesson permanently removes the records, recordings and videos. Settings → Delete account removes everything and the account itself; this cannot be undone.
Languages
Homework can be produced in seven languages. Choose the language in Settings on the My Students screen.
